Kitchen cleaning: degreasing and hygiene without the hassle

The kitchen is the heart of the home — and the place where the most grease and bacteria build up. A good routine keeps it clean with minimal effort.
Tackle grease while it's fresh
Splatter on the stove and hob wipes off in seconds while still warm. Left overnight, it hardens and doubles the work. Wipe down right after cooking.
The hood — the forgotten hero
The hood filter clogs with grease and loses efficiency. Remove it and soak it for 30 minutes in hot water with baking soda and dish soap. You will see and feel the difference.
The bacteria hotspots
- The dish sponge — replace it often, it is the dirtiest object in the house
- Cabinet and fridge handles
- The tap and the area around the sink
- Cutting boards — keep a separate one for meat
Inside the fridge
Once a month, empty it and wipe the shelves with water and vinegar. Don't forget the door seal, where grime and mold gather.
The bin
Wash and disinfect the bin itself, not just the bag. Odors start there.
