Cookie policy
Last updated: 7 June 2026
We use cookies and similar technologies for the website to function and, with your consent, for traffic analytics. You can manage your choices anytime from the “Cookie settings” banner.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Some are essential for functioning, others help us understand how the site is used.
2. Cookie categories
Strictly necessary: enable core functions (session, authentication, security). They are always active and do not require consent.
Analytics (opt-in): Google Analytics 4, with Consent Mode v2 (anonymized IP), and our own visitor-activity tracking described in section 2.1. ONLY enabled if you accept it in the banner.
2.1. Our own visitor-activity tracking
The `vt_session` cookie (strictly technical, httpOnly, 24h) identifies a browsing session. If you accept the "Analytics" category, we record the pages you visit, time spent, device/browser type, language, timezone, traffic source (referrer/UTM) and an approximate location (country/city, resolved from your FULL IP address via the external service ip-api.com, after which the IP is stored masked — last octet/last 64 bits removed). This data may trigger an internal notification to our team (e.g. "someone is visiting the site right now") — it is not used for advertising and is not sold or shared with third parties beyond those mentioned.
You can object to this specific processing at any time, independently of your general banner choice, from the "Cookie settings" page (footer) or directly from the "Don't track my visits" link (footer) — it sets a 1-year cookie that excludes your browser.
Retention: tracking data is automatically deleted 90 days after the visit.
3. Managing consent
On your first visit we ask for an explicit choice. You can accept all, reject non-essential cookies, or configure preferences. Your choice is stored locally and can be changed anytime from “Cookie settings” (footer).
4. Browser control
You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect how the site works.
